Methi Crackers –  Delicious  baked crackers, made of whole wheat, spices and chopped methi leaves (fenugreek leaves). Recipe from BBC Goodfood magazine India , June 2013 !!

Makes : approximately 3 dozens

Make a dough with 200 ml / 8 oz multigrain atta or whole wheat atta, a pinch of salt, 1 tablespoon sugar, 2 tablespoon extra virgin  oilive oil, 2 chopped green chillies, 1 teaspoon chopped ginger, 1 teaspoon jeera (cumin seeds),  1/ 2 to 1 teaspoon red chilli powder, ½ cup chopped fenugreek leaves (methi) and approximately ½ cup water. Let it rest for 30 minutes. Preheat oven (OTG) at 175* C. Take a baking tray and turn it upside down. Put the dough on the back of the tray. Roll it thinly like a chapatti on the tray. This will avoid breakage. Brush with a little olive oil on the top. Cut into desired shape. Bake for 20 minutes until crisp and golden. Cool. Store it in an airtight container.
